Quince is a fruit native of Western Asia, already known 4000 years ago by the Babilonians, the Greeks and the Romans, who ate it with honey or used to obtain a cyder from it, symbolizing love and fertility according to Pompeii’s frescoes. We produce this preserve with just apples and cane sugar.
