Jam to be enjoyed spread on bread, as a filling for croissants, to fill cakes, ice cream and tarts. It is excellent mixed with yogurt. After opening store in the refrigerator.
The elderberry is a medium-heigh tree, and lives ibn the whole Euro-asiatic continent. The Ancients thought it to have magical powers and therapeutic properties, so much that in Austria it was called “Gods’ Apothecary”. This preserve is prepared with just elderberries and cane sugar.
