This superb mayonnaise is made with 100% Italian eggs, oil and the addition of “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena P.G.I.”. With its well-rounded flavor, this sauce is perfect for accompanying and enhancing a wide variety of dishes with an elegant, refined touch.

Mayonnaise history remounts to 1756, when in Minorca Island the nephew of Cardinal Richelieu, the Duke of Richelieu, won the island to the Englishmen. To celebrate this victory he held a feast for his troops, and the chef tried to prepare an eggbased sauce, but its poor results forced him to imitate the local mix of oil and eggs. Our mayonnaise is prepared with italian eggs from hens elevated free from cages.
