To make a pizza in just a few minutes, simply open the jar and spread the sauce directly onto rolled-out dough, add mozzarella cheese and bake at 250° until fully cooked. To be tried spread on toast.
In Sardinia, French and Italian archaeologists have found traces of baking bread dating back to over 7000 years ago and it was bread. Modern pizza, on the other hand, originated in Naples in the 18th century. Initially it was a popular dish among the poorer classes because it was cheap, tasty, and easy to eat. But the international fame of this traditional Italian dish is due to Gennaro Esposito, who in 1889 made a pizza in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy with the colors of the Italian flag: “la Margherita” was born, which would become one of the strong symbols of Italian style in the world.
