A sauce with a slightly spicy taste, it is excellent in combination with boiled or grilled meats, with fish and on bread. Try it also on white pasta to enrich its flavor. We suggest mixing the sauce well before use to enhance the quality of the ingredients.
Chilli is the protagonist in all pre-Columbian civilizations. Among the Aztecs, the Mayans and the Incas it is a plant believed to be sacred and also used as a currency. In Europe the chili pepper arrived thanks to Christopher Columbus. The Genoese navigator discovered it during his first trip and talks about it, in a travel report dated 15 January 1493. For the preparation of this sauce we use vegetables and chilli pepper.
